KEY factors impacting on the health of ethnic minority groups in Redditch have been highlighted in a recent survey, writes Becky Procter.
The findings follow a research project aimed at reducing ill health and improving access to NHS services for black and ethnic minority communities in the town.
The West Midlands Health Research Unit carried out the project and findings were presented to Redditch Council's joint health consultative committee.
And now members of Redditch Primary Care Group's health improvement programme for black and ethnic minority groups have drawn up an action plan aimed at tackling the issues.
