REDDITCH-based outfit Team Legs Eleven endured a disappointing weekend with Tristan Palmer finishing a disappointing 21st.

Palmer came in last after a damp first qualifying session after his new master brake cylinder failed, leaving him with no front brakes on every other corner.

In a drier second session the fault was rectified only for Palmer to find the calibration was not breathing properly and the young rider could only climb to 33rd.

Starting well back on the grid, Palmer climbed a dozen places but with the safety car out for six of the 16 laps his efforts were frustrated and a two hour photoshoot with men's mag FHM failed to lift the gloom after the race.

Team Legs Eleven return to action at Thruxton on Sunday, July 1.
