AT the time of writing (Thursday, June 15) one whole week has past since the General Election.
So why is it that you can drive around our city boundaries and still see in the hedgerows the large Vote Conservative signs? Surely the party workers who erected these signs should have had the time to remove them by now.
If I was a landowner, and had given permission to have the signs on my property, I would be bitterly disappointed that they had not been removed by now and would seriously have to reconsider giving permission again.
So please let's get these campaign posters down as soon as possible before they take root.
COUN GARY KIBBLEWHITE,
Worcester.
