STOKE Prior Bowling Club remain in second place in Warwickshire and Worcestershire Premier Division Seven after a brilliant 61-shot away win at Royal British Legion Austin Branch.
The Bromsgrove side produced nine winning games from 12, the best of these, Pete Harvey's awesome 21-4.
This Saturday, Stoke have a top of the table clash, with the trip to Small Heath Amateur Gardeners Bowling Club.
In the Big Crown League, Stoke travelled to Bartley Green to play Cock Inn.
The Stokies were always in command, and with the help of a 21-6 card from Dave Buttery, the game was sealed by 35 shots.
