THE anonymous correspondent who complained about the road humps in
Lickey End was right to point to the absence of an effective parish council.
Had one existed, there would at least have been a forum in which he could
have made his views known.
Although there are any number of other issues which need to be addressed by a recognised representative body, there has been a luddite group standing on an anti-parish council ticket in the election who would deny that
facility to local residents.
These people are wreckers without a single progressive thought in their
heads.
