STEVE Daniels has underlined his intent to push Bromsgrove Rovers back into football's non-league elite by capturing the signature of top marksman Michael Moore from Midland Alliance neighbours Stourbridge.
Dr Martens League Premier Division outfit Tamworth United had already made 27-year-old Moore an exceptional offer to join them.
But he refused, and his friendship with Daniels -- his old boss at Stourbridge -- is said to be a major factor in his decision.
The straight-talking Rovers manager has also snapped up Moore's former strike partner, 26-year-old Matt Coppin, from Blakenall, as he strives to get the Victoria Ground outfit back into the Dr Martens League at the first attempt.
But the signings have not stopped there and Daniels hinted there may be more.
In come former West Brom and Kidderminster forward Les Palmer (aged 28), leading a player exodus from Blakenall, who have merged with Bloxwich Town.
Also joining Rovers from the Walsall outfit are defender Morgan Brookes (30) and goalkeeper Matthew Lowe (26), while defender Steve Hillman (21) and midfielder Mark Simms (28) were due to sign last night.
Daniels is waiting on answers from Redditch United duo Mark Swann (27) and Scott Colcombe (28) over their future, while 30-year-old defender Jason Owen could be signing from Halesowen Town.
Ex-West Brom man Craig Love may also join the Greens after a sabbatical season.
Richard Crisp, a solid 30-year-old defender with over 300 appearances for Halesowen, is another that could be on the way to Bromsgrove.
Meanwhile, Steve Frost, Paul Lloyd, Keil Somnall, Grant Beckett and Mark Creichton have all re-signed, while Daniels is waiting to see if Bromsgrove-based Kevin Banner will accept his offer to stay.
David Bridgewater and Jamie Turpin may yet play in a Rovers shirt next season.
There are casualties, however. Daniels has decided Dean Wright, Lee Hughes, Luke Yates and Costas Xiourouppa are not part of his ambitious promotion plans for next season.
