A DISTRESSED Charford woman has put up cash in a bid to find disrespectful vandals who smashed up a memorial bench dedicated to her mother.
Denise Warman, of Humphrey Avenue, was upset when she visited her mother's grave, in St John's Cemetery, to find three benches had their slats kicked in and were scrawled in graffiti.
One bench has a memorial plaque to her mother, Margaret Kendall.
Denise said: "I am relieved her grave was not touched because I would have been absolutely devastated.
"It shows such disrespect, and the graffiti was scratched into the bench.
"I have put up the cash because I want these vandals caught."
Bromsgrove's Sergeant Andy Chinn confirmed three benches and two graves had been interfered with the previous weekend.
He said: "This is sheer vandalism of cherished items and we are very keen to track the culprits."
The reward - not yet revealed - will be given to the person with information leading to the offenders' arrest.
