AT the meeting at the Swan Hotel, president Jayne Hancox introduced the speaker for the evening, wildlife naturalist Gary Farmer.
The talk, accompanied by his own slides, was all about birds and wild flowers that can be found in Worcestershire.
Gary expressed his concern about the dwindling population of many birds which were once regarded as common, such as sparrows, starlings and robins.
Some wild flowers are almost extinct so people should look and not touch many of them as it is against the law to remove wild flowers.
The Rev David Capron, proposing the vote of thanks, complimented Gary on the quality of the photography and the excellence of his talk.
