WORCESTERSHIRE-based landscape gardener Jason Giles says his future is looking rosier than ever now his company is set to feature on TV.
High profile TV gardener Professor Stefan Buczacki is to welcome the Jason Giles Landscape, Design and Construction team into his private gardens to work while the cameras are rolling for his slot on Channel 5's Open House Garden Diary.
Mr Giles, of Holt Heath, is over the moon that his company was hand-picked for the job by nationwide Turf producers Rolawn.
"It means a great deal that the country's foremost turf producers have personally recommended us for such a high profile job - especially as they deal with hundreds of landscape gardeners," he said.
"Apparently the professor will only use their product and the story starts there."
Now Mr Giles is hoping that the company's TV appearance could even lead to further recommendations.
"You never know what can happen, but to be working on the professor's personal gardens is an honour. He's a very highly respected gardener," he said.
Mr Giles is pleased that things are going so well after only starting the business three years ago.
"We're very busy, because we offer the full service, from building a patio to complete garden design. We've just expanded and now we've got two teams on the go. We all take pride in what we do," he said.
The company's success is the culmination of Mr Giles' childhood dreams.
"I was born with green fingers, and even as a child I only ever wanted to be a landscape gardener," he added.
"As I got older, my dreams progressed to having my own landscape gardening company and now here I am. The good thing is that I keep on raising my aims and the company will flourish even further.
"This kind of work really is a labour of love and I feel lucky to be able to earn a living doing what I love."
