GOLF: The Friends of Kidderminster Harriers' annual golf day was kept within the football club after a sterling effort from chairman Lionel Newton's team.
Newton, partnered by administration manager Alan Biggs, Alan Stanyer and Peter Evans, scored 93 stableford points.
The team, named The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, was successful in the 12th year of the hotly-contested competition.
They finished one point ahead of second-placed EBC Group Team One, while Collision Repair Specialists were third in the 18-team tournament at Kidderminster Golf Club.
It is expected £1,000 will be raised which is set to help pay for the scoreboard now in place at Aggborough's college end.
