I AM writing to say how disturbing it was, on reading in your paper last week, a quotation from recently defeated county councillor John Wardle.
Mr Wardle, who was ousted by Michael Shellie for Health Concern at Puxton, stated: "I now fear the wrath of the Labour Government against Kidderminster".
Are members of the Labour Party totally unaware that we live in a democracy?
They have disregarded the voice of the people in Wyre Forest, and forced us to stand up and shout "enough is enough" via the ballot box.
Are we now to be punished by a powerful party for performing our democratic right?
If so, I fear for the future of our country, let alone the health service.
Our new MP, Dr Richard Taylor, fortunately does not have to toe any party line, but he was elected with such an overwhelming majority because he was the only one listening.
I sincerely hope that the voters of Wyre Forest will inspire others to bring the powerful main parties back to basics, and do what they are elected to do, and represent the wishes of the electors.
