Siligrove Fishery

Heavy rain made large fish scarce on both trout and coarse lakes so the catches by Harriers Angling club were mainly small fish.

Result: Paul Hyde 8lb 9z (including a 3-15 carp caught on maggots), Mick Norgrave 7-61, Dave Knight 4-6.

On the trout lakes, one angler caught 10 rainbows with dry flies and another landed seven rainbows to 4.5lb.

SHATTERFORD LAKES

One angler landed nine trout from the Masters Lake with a cats whisker and another caught fish to 3lb during an evening session on buzzers.

The recent storms have livened up the catfish and the biggest to fall, to boilies, was a 31lb specimen.

Ian Ree, of Trimpley, landed two catfish to 25lb and nine carp to 15.5lb using boilies on the Erics.

A boilie tempted a 25lb cat and 14 carp to 18lb were caught with boilies on the Stuarts.

One catch of 11 carp to 8.5lb was taken with chum mixers on the Stella.

Good mixed bags between 40lb and 50lb were recorded off the Stella.
