A COUPLE swapped their Button Oak home to sample life in Canada and they are to become television celebrities into the bargain.
Retired teacher David and Pat Slade's exchange with Vancouver's Ted and Yvette Brocks is to be screened in the autumn on Channel Four's Home From Home. Canadian visitors Ted and Yvette Brocks play golf with Brenda and Tony Kerigan during a "home from home" holiday swap which will be shown on Channel Four.
The two couples have swapped lives for two weeks, sampling each other's hobbies and visiting areas of interest.
The Brocks spent a day in Ironbridge before heading for a round of golf at Wharton Park.
They played Stourport's Brenda and Tony Kerigan who have both captained teams at the Bewdley club in the past.
