CIVIL SERVICE RETIREMENT FELLOWSHIP: There was a particularly good attendance at the meeting on June 12. After welcoming all present, Mrs Anne Innes, Chairman, dealt with Group matters before introducing Mr Nicholas Clark who was making his third visit to us. We knew, therefore, that we were in for a treat and we were not disappointed. His talk covered a year, which he and his family spent in Corsica where he was making an exchange visit (both job and house) with a resident teacher. He took us on a clockwise tour of the island illustrated with his usual excellent slides and graphic descriptions of both terrain and experiences, peppered with the humorous anecdotes we have come to expect of him. We are already looking forward to Mr Clark's next visit in the fullness of time. The group will be taking a summer break in July and will next meet in the library on August 14 when Mr D J Harries will be talking about John Martin's Charity.
