In response to the resolution on provision of a school nursing service, members felt that the in-training of staff in hospitals and homes was of more worth.
On the care of the elderly in hospitals and homes, Brockencote proposes an amendment with regard to the training of all care staff, who must be on a national register.
The proposed review of the constitution was voted against.
A talk by two women with special responsibilities for child development discussed Women's Aid Home in Kidderminster.
The next meeting will be on July 18 when Janet Miller will show how to dress a salmon and make sauces at the Methodist Hall, Bluntington. A salmon lunch has been organised at Broad House Farm, Cutnall Green on September 4, at noon, in aid of the Air Ambulance.
