WHAT a super afternoon last Sunday when Birtsmorton Court gardens were opened.
A record attendance on a beautiful afternoon, everyone taking in the peace and tranquillity of the countryside as it should be.
Thank you to Charlie and Bill who were able to give informative history to many interested visitors in our lovely Parish Church. Thanks to Sue who was in firing line for the teas (we couldn't have done it without you) and a special thank you to Jasmine who had already completed a charity walk/run round Worcester racecourse during the morning.
We sold a record amount of teas enabling us to raise £209 for our Parish Church Funds.
Special mention to Rosalie and Nigel for the loan of the Conference Centre and to Peter for his support and help, making this a very happy and successful afternoon.
Jasmine and Josie (Turner) would like to thank everyone who supported them with encouragement and sponsorship for their charity run round Worcester racecourse last Sunday morning. Congratulations to them for raising nearly £400. Despite Josie having recently recovered from a broken ankle, she still managed to complete the course. Who's going to join them next year? All proceeds are going to a cancer charity.
Date for your diary. At last we have a confirmed booking for the very talented Hillstone Choir they will be singing and playing in Birtsmorton Church on Friday, October 12 at 7.30pm. This is an excellent evenings entertainment by very talented youngsters who thoroughly enjoy performing to an appreciative audience.
