THIS Sunday (June 24), there will be a strawberry tea with music by the Malvern Hills Brass Band at Madresfield Church, from 3pm.
Tickets are £3.50 and people are invited to bring their own chairs, but will be served with strawberry teas. Proceeds are for the upkeep of St Mary's Church, Madresfield, (part of our United Benefice) and the event replaces the cancellation of Daffodil Sunday due to the foot and mouth crisis.
Finally, on Sunday at 6.30pm, Malvern Witness Choir will be singing a programme of Christian music entitled Summer Spirit at St James' Church, Callow End. This year the choir celebrates 20 years since it was formed by the late Denis Molyneux.
