ON Sunday (June 24) the Family Service at St Mary's Church will include the baptism of the late Rev Lawrence Davies' granddaughter.
Mr Davies was Vicar of Longdon from 1954 until he retired in 1986. The service begins at 10am.
The assembly of the Parish Magazine takes place on Tuesday (June 26) at the Vicarage, beginning at 2.30pm.
Longdon Church-women's Fellowship meets on Wednesday (June 27) for a meeting at Merebrook Aquatics beginning at 7.30pm. Please meet at the village hall at 7pm so transport can be arranged.
Next Saturday (June 30), the village hall committee are holding a family skittles evening from 7pm-11.30pm. There will be a licensed bar and refreshments. Go along and try your hand at winning a prize!
