WEST Malvern Village Fete will be held in the grounds of St James's School on July 14.
Cricket Club members will be running a stall featuring videos, CDs records, books and computer games. Items can be left with Paul at the post office as well as with cricket club committee members.
West Malvern Cricket Club's membership is open to anyone interested in playing or supporting the club. There is a full programme of fixtures for Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season and the club has a thriving junior section. Individual membership is available for senior and junior players. Family and social memberships are also available. Forms and further details about the club may be obtained from membership secretary Tim Paige 19 Abbey Road, Malvern, Worcestershire WR14 3ES.
Also becoming something of an institution in the village's summer calendar is the allotment association's annual barbecue, scheduled this year for Sunday, July 8, starting at the allotments around 4pm.
All West Malvern allotment holders are automatically members of the association and welcome to attend. The barbecue should provide a good chance to leave the tools in the shed, admire the crops and share moans about pests and diseases.
