THERE were two baptisms at a confirmation service in Upton Parish Church, when one of those baptised was also among the eight confirmation candidates.
Ninety people attended the special service recently, which saw four adults and four children confirmed by the Bishop of Worcester, the Rt Rev Dr Peter Selby.
The candidates, who were accompanied by their sponsors, had been prepared for the occasion by the Rector, the Rev Dr Chris Hardwick. They each received a book about the Christian faith, given by the church.
The church choir sang for the occasion and there were refreshments afterwards.
