But then came a middle order collapse and only a late order flourish of 44 by B Smith lifted their total to 121.
D Rouse (3-27) and R Hinds (3-59) were the most successful bowlers.
Newland started their innings in similar fashion with C Genever (83) and Tenney (50) putting on 143 for the first wicket. They then lost three quick wickets but an amazing innings of 64no in 18 scoring strokes by J Riaz won the game with four overs to spare.
