SUPERBIKES star Jason Wilshaw is hoping a change to the traditional race schedule will benefit him at Croft this weekend.
The Callow Hill rider will enjoy three practise sessions tomorrow on a Croft circuit he has never seen before.
The traditional format of holding separate championship and trophy races has been scrapped and the day will culminate in a combined race which will be for a cup and act as round six of the Classics Club Post Classics Series.
And on Sunday an untimed warm-up will be followed by another combination race.
Wilshaw's rival and championship leader Mark Pinkney has failed to show yet after mangling his foot and writing off his bike at the Post TT meeting at Mallory Park.
If Pinkney fails to turn up Wilshaw could grab a massive 37 point advantage over him at the top of the championship table with two wins.
