HARTPURY College has committed to sponsoring Malvern's Zoe Sleigh, who is a 12-year-old dressage rider aiming for great success.
Zoe, a pupil at Kings School, Worcester, has already achieved many milestones on the way to becoming an international competitor in the increasingly high profile sport of dressage.
She competed for England in a British Isles contest, has been selected for the National Squads and was one of the select participants in the premier British Dressage masterclass. Her performances have been highlighted on several occasions by Horse and Hound and by Dressage Magazine.
Islay Auty FBHS, is the trainer of Zoe and also a part-time lecturer at Hartpury College. Mrs Auty said: "At twelve years of age, Zoe already understands what it takes to be a champion. She appreciates the commitment to excellence and the determination to be the best. "She has two stunning ponies, which with her effort and dedication can take her to the top of Pony Rider Dressage competition, both nationally in the UK and we hope in Europe. "She is a serious contender for being a member of the UK European Pony Team over the next four years."
