MIKE Foster makes an optimistic assumption if he believes all of Worcester's citizens are pleased to have him for their MP.
Like many thousands of others in Worcester, I did not vote for him. Nor did I vote for his party to lead this country.
However, he now has approximately five years in which to show us just how loudly "the voice of Worcester" will be heard in Westminster.
This must include ensuring we receive a greatly improved education budget settlement, better transport and health care provision, and an overall increase in the amount of central government funding for this country.
It remains to be seen if he does, indeed, have the courage, integrity and will to fight for a better deal for Worcester, or whether he'll simply follow the party line on all matters.
Perhaps he'll finally forget about foxes, and begin to concentrate on working for his constituents. I, for one, remain to be convinced that he will.
MRS J MILSOM,
Worcester
