FUTURE Prospect can take advantage of some lenient handicapping to score at Beverley tomorrow.
Mark Buckley's tough seven-year-old runs in the Tankclean Handicap over an extended seven furlongs at the Westwood off a 5lb higher mark than when making a successful reappearance over course and distance two weeks ago.
Rated 51 that day, he won a shade comfortably under a confident ride from Fergal Lynch.
Held up at the rear, Future Prospect made good headway from halfway and was soon in touch. Switched left a furlong out he quickened nicely to lead well inside the final furlong before going on to record a one-and-a-quarter-length victory over Peppiatt.
Future Prospect was making amends having finished an unlucky second in the equivalent race last year when rated 11lb higher.
So even with the rise in the weights for his win he still appears well treated.
Future Prospect, who has done all his winning in May, June and July, is clearly in good heart and he is made the nap selection to register his seventh career success tomorrow.
Sir Michael Stoute's Photographer has shown only moderate form on his two starts so far but the son of Mountain Cat has the scope to do better and it is worth taking a chance with him in the Eve Rail Maiden Stakes.
At Lingfield Hard To Catch can live up to his name in the Arena Leisure Handicap.
Ken Ivory's improving sprinter is on a three-timer following wins at Brighton and Goodwood.
Last time at Goodwood he led a furlong out and ran on strongly to hold the fast-finishing Shannon Flyer by a neck.
Hard To Catch likes the easier tracks and has the right credentials to continue his winning run in tomorrow's six-furlong dash.
Night Fall will not have to improve too much on her half-length second to Jezadil at Brighton last time to land the Bet Direct From Littlewoods Fillies' Handicap.
The Brighton race was Night Fall's third of the campaign and she should now be at her peak.
