THE former post office building in Evesham's High Street is not for sale, says the company.
Post Office Network says it still expects the Royal Mail, which runs the sorting office behind the High Street building, to expand its operations and move in there.
The post office itself closed last year in a storm of protest and moved into the Co-op store in the Riverside Centre, and since then the building has stood empty.
Pam Johns, from the Post Office Network, said: "It is not up for sale and it belongs to Post Office Property Holdings. Royal Mail are looking to expand their operation to take over the rest of the building."
