COOKLEY fell 46 runs short of a big Romsley and Hunnington target in Saturday's Worcestershire League Division Two top-of-the-table clash.
The villagers are now fourth in the table, while Romsley are second behind runaway leaders Astwood Bank.
Gary Mills and Paul Harris took three wickets apiece in Romsley's total of 266 all out.
In reply, Cookley looked well placed at 120-1 but wickets started to tumble.
Despite 65 by skipper Harris and 35 not out by Mills, they finished well short of their target.

The mid-table seconds fared better at Romsley, clinching a four-wicket win.
Rob Horton(3-92) and John Martin (4-32) restricted the home side to 220-9.
Cookley reached their target with three-and-a-half overs to spare, thanks to a fine 62 by Stewart Nicholls and an unbeaten 52 by Martin.
