A NEW mum on her first night out after giving birth drank so much she did not know why she woke up in a police station.
Jody Smout threw a pint over a member of staff at an Evesham bar and was thrown out, Droitwich magistrates were told.
The 23-year-old was escorted out of Chancers Wine Bar, in Vine Street, and kicked the door on her way out.
Julian Harris, prosecuting yesterday, said Smout had been outside for just a couple of minutes when staff heard a glass window breaking.
"Staff found the defendant with her leg through the glass," said Mr Harris.
Smout, of St James' Drive, Evesham, said she had no recollection of the incident.
"I was so drunk," said Smout, who represented herself.
"I've got a one-year-old daughter and that was the first time I had been out. I went over the top.
"I woke up in the police station not knowing what I'd done."
Smout admitted criminal damage in the incident, which happened around 10.15pm on Friday, May 18.
Magistrates gave her a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered her to pay £30 compensation to cover the cost of the damage.
She was also ordered to pay £55 costs.
