CHESS: Michael Kitchen, captain of Kidderminster's Wolverhampton and District League team, led his side to a 3.5-1.5 home victory over Stafford.
The result was a fine ending to the club's centenary season.
Kidderminster have been offered promotion to Division Two next season despite finishing only third in Division Three.
League records secretary Graham Humphreys made the proposition and Kitchen jumped at the chance for his side to move up.
