TWO Barnt Green teenagers shared a third wicket stand of 120 to sink Bromsgrove CC Seconds at Cherry Hill Road in the Worcester-shire Sunday Club Cricket League.
Young Matt Mullan (74) and Gary Wood (51) starred in a highly impressive partnership helping Green to establish a solid score of 218-7 in their 45 overs.
Bromsgrove's reply started at breakneck speed. They scored 30 in three overs thanks to openers Mark Bilborough (25) and John Hansell (59).
Skipper Nick Taylor (25) batted steadily but the middle order succumbed to good bowling and excellent fielding and Town were eventually 172 all out.
This was a fine all round team effort from Barnt Green who secured a highly entertaining win.
Their notable bowling performances came from Campwood (3-28) and Alan Guest (4-10).
