CUTNALL Green had to settle for a winning draw in their Worcestershire County League Division Five game against Vine on Saturday.
Green were put in to bat and got off to a slow start.
The middle order batsman consolidated the innings with Charles Dauncey scoring 46 not out.
Thanks to some big hitting from the lower order, the home side finished on 190 for seven.
In reply, Vine never looked like reaching the target and frequently lost wickets.
Opener J Harber was the only batsman who coped with the Green attack.
He scored 31 not out in the 45 overs and the visitors finished on 110-9.
Paul Taylor claimed 4-25 off 17 overs.
The result leaves Green in fifth place in the league. They face bottom of the table Kidderminster at home this Saturday.
