WORCESTER City have unveiled their new strip -- minus the stripes.
The club's traditional blue and white striped kit has been replaced for next season with an all-blue shirt and white trimmings.
Manufacturers Patrick came up with the design, while the away kit is white shirts and blue shorts, which is the original strip, and may be used as the main strip in the club's centenary year next season.
Sponsors Petrochem Carless have agreed to back the club for a second season.
"Stripes are our traditional design but in terms of design there are a only certain number of things you can do with them," said director Dave Boddy.
"We have had various different types of stripes over the past decade and thought it was time for a change."
Manager John Barton, who played in the blue and white stripes during his time as a player, gave the new design the thumbs-up.
"I like both the home and away kits and the white shirt looks like it could be quite a nice casual leisure shirt," he said.
Leading goalscorer, Mark Owen, was also happy with the new kit.
"I think it is better than last year's and I prefer it plain," he said.
