THERE'S foul play brewing at the Palace Theatre this week - all in the name of entertainment, of course.
The Business of Murder, penned by the creator of TV's A Touch of Frost, is hitting the stage tomorrow and Friday.
Three characters, forever linked by a gruesome murder committed eight years ago, are playing a game called deception - but the stakes are high, high enough to kill for.
Richard Harris' dark play is a tale of jealousy, bluff and double bluff which leads to the ultimate crime.
The play is being performed by the Southern Actors - Indiscretions.
Southern Actors founder Frances Childs said: "We're delighted to be touring with The Business of Murder.
"We're great fans of TV's Frost and this play has all the classic twists and turns as well as the cheeky humour of the best Frost episodes.
"For the past eight years, the company has concentrated on touring classic thrillers.
"We've just completed a hugely successful tour of Anthony Shaffer's classic whodunnit Sleuth, which will be appearing at the Palace in October."
Tickets are available from the box office on 65203 or 68484. Doors open 7.30pm.
