PUPILS at a Redditch School have been learning about an era of history which has important lessons for the future.
This week, Bridley Moor High School held a display on the Holocaust in Nazi Germany.
Headteacher Val Duffycross said: "It's a large travelling exhibition which head of history Alan McLoughlin and head of RE Stephen Dunton organised for the pupils.
"Many members of staff have given up free time to ensure that as many pupils as possible could see it during their lunchtime.
"The display outlines the rise of the Third Reich and its impact on Jewish society. It falls naturally into the curriculum but also the hidden curriculum of teaching tolerance.
"The importance of it also falls beyond the Holocaust itself to the wider issue of genocide across the world."
Mrs Duffycross added: "It's had a very powerful impact on the pupils."
