There is delight throughout Alcester after it was announced the town had received a huge grant towards its Roman Heritage Centre.
The town has been awarded £211,500 from the Heritage Lottery Fund in order to exhibit the archaeological collections from the Roman town of Alcester and its hinterland.
Warwickshire County Council is the lead applicant in the consortium, which includes Stratford District Council and the Alcester Heritage Trust.
The project, based in a room in the old magistrate's court building, will increase access to the town's history by displaying a collection which is currently in storage.
The new one-stop shop of offices will probably be named Globe House as a tribute to the old Globe Hotel, which previously stood in the area.
