The Worcestershire County Council, in line with other local authorities, is giving special support this year to campaign against litter and they have asked me to enlist the support of your readers for this worthy cause.
Paper and bottles disfigure the countryside, whether it be the hills of Malvern or Clent or the riverbank, and make the ugliest uglier still and taint the complexion of our towns and villages.
How many picnic makers stop to think when they leave behind broken bottles or open tins that animals are going to tread upon them?
