THE date of the June meeting fell on election day, so could not take place at the WI Hall. Members therefore met at the home of Mrs Carol Clark.
A very useful and entertaining talk/demonstration was given by Annette Hughes on "Colour Analysis" and Carol kindly agreed to be the model.
There are so many different shades in one colour and to find the right one makes a vast difference with clothes and the correct make-up, plus the way to apply it and how much to use. Valuable tips to make a woman feel special.
Helen gave a vote of thanks to Annette, who arranged for a few members to visit her and receive advice.
A jumble sale was arranged for July 20. The July meeting takes place in Mary Morley's garden, when the speaker will talk about the Christmas boxes for children and the journey they take to their destination.
A competition for a face mask was won by Jo Parker and Mary Preston. Hostesses were Mary Preston and Cathy. The raffle was won by Lynne Kirkman.
