BROMSGROVE First XI face a vital encounter with fellow strugglers Stourbridge on Saturday.
They are looking to bounce back after dropping to second from bottom in the Birmingham and District League Premier Division.
Inspirational strike bowler Nick Husbands made his First team comeback on Saturday but was up against a man in unstoppable form - Aussie Tony Bristow who scored a match-winning 159 for Leamington.
Nick said: "I was a bit apprehensive to start with but I did okay.
"Tony Bristow had an outstanding game and you have to accept that it happens from time to time. We are still positive and we aim to lift ourselves out of the relegation zone."
All-rounder Mark Evenson cracked his second successive Sunday ton as the Firsts beat Barnt Green by 100 runs.
Evenson scored 100 not out and Richard Hope made 79 as they put on 217 for the first wicket in this Worcestershire Sunday Club Cricket League match.
Skipper Paul Duffy then took six Barnt Green wickets as the visitors were dismissed for 163.
