BROMSGROVE Rovers manager Steve Daniels is continuing to work hard as the new season approaches.
He has persuaded teenager Kevin Banner to re-sign for the Midland Alliance club and is still negotiating with experienced defender Richard Crisp and Redditch United pair Mark Swann and Scott Colcombe.
Daniels said: "We've made some fabulous signings and it will be nice to get pre-season under way.
"Mark and Scott would be the icing on the cake but they are talking to clubs at a higher standard and that might sway them."
Speaking about the rumoured departure of chief executive Pat Bannister, Daniels said: "My aim is to get the club promoted next year regardless of what happens behind the scenes."
The players will get together on Tuesday night when training restarts at the Victoria Ground.
The first friendly is at home to Kidderminster Harriers on July 14.
