CHILDREN at a Worcester after-school club have come up smelling of roses.
The youngsters have been working on an environmental project in the city as part of National Kids Club Week.
The 40 members of the Cheeky Chimps After School and Holiday Club have been picking up litter around Lyppard Grange Community Centre, in Warndon Villages, where they meet, and planting bizzie- lizzies.
Among the youngsters who enjoyed the plants, donated by Worcester Garden Centre, were Joe Paine, aged seven, and his five-year-old sister Laura.
"The youngsters have really enjoyed the week," said group leader Lesley Catherall.
"And we're finishing off with a party tomorrow."
