A FURIOUS Kidderminster couple have blasted the "moronic idiots" who have embarked on a car wrecking spree since Christmas.

Keith and Susan Thomson, of Worcester Road, said damage to vehicles, fighting, speeding and verbal abuse has become a regular occurrence on Friday and Saturday nights.

Mrs Thomson said: "These people think they are men but they are no more than kids. Recently, 11 wing mirrors were kicked off cars and this week they moved on to scraping lines along the sides of three of four cars."

Her partner, who said neighbours had expressed similar concerns, added: "I don't mind people drinking but I do object to the fights we've seen here. The police said they have an idea who it is but we haven't heard anymore, even though last Saturday our neighbour caught one of the thugs on camera causing damage.

"People have also jumped over cars, smashed headlights and snapped off windscreen wipers and aerials."

A spokeswoman for Kidderminster Police said the vandalism would be investigated and she urged witnesses to call them on 01562 820888.
