Half-centuries by trialist Philip Hearle and Kadeer Ali provided the platform for Worcestershire's 83-run victory over Glamorgan in yesterday's Second Eleven Trophy clash at New Road.
Trialist Hearle led the way with 71, which included eight fours off 97 balls, while Ali backed him up well by plundering exactly 50 with the help of six fours off 57 deliveries.
Steve Moore chipped in with 47 and Shabaz Ali 43no to help lift the County to 274-6.
Glamorgan were dismissed for 191 in 39.2 overs with trialist paceman Tyrone Greenaway taking 4-36.
The batting star for the visitors was Ian Thomas who made a fine 115.
It was the County's first victory in the competition in their third group match.
Worcestershire were back in action today with a match against Gloucestershire at Ombersley.
