GREEN-FINGERED folk can sample the delights of a cottage garden which is opening for the 10th year next month.
Arley Cottage Gardens, Upper Arley, will open its doors in aid of the National Gardens Scheme on Sunday, July 15, when plants and cream teas will be on sale. Gary Williams tends the Arley Cottage Garden which opens to the public next month.
Gardener Gary Williams said: "There will be rhododendrons, rare trees, shrubs, a vegetable garden and traditional cottage garden for people to see.
"We are just hoping for the very hot weather of recent days to be with us when the day arrives as it always makes for a more enjoyable occasion."
The garden, which is reached off the Kidderminster to Bridgnorth road, will be open between 2pm and 5.30pm. Further details are available by calling 01299 861135.
