WYRE Forest people are being urged to come forward with their concerns over the state of district roads.
Stephen Clee, Worcestershire county councillor for Chaddesley Corbett, has been newly installed as chairman of the Wyre Forest Highways Partnership Forum, which is responsible for road maintenance in the area.
And he has vowed to take the forum forward after slamming roads as being "in a terrible state". Mr Clee wants district people to write to him to report all problems.
"I have various ideas and hope to be able to make some very serious changes to the operation of this forum over the next 12-months." he said.
He succeeds former Conservative county council colleague Ken Peers, who lost his Rock and Bewdley seat to Health Concern's Frank Baillie at this month's election.
People can write to Mr Clee at Worcestershire County Council, County Hall, Worcester, WR5 2NP.
