A LOUD explosion was the signal for Kidderminster firefighters to dash to a town boat building factory.
Two crews spent more than an hour dealing with the blaze at Sealine International which happened when a large skip used for storing waste resin burst into flames.
They used six sets of breathing apparatus, two water jets and two hose reels to extinguish the fire, which had spread to a second skip after their arrival at 2am on Tuesday.
