UNBEATEN Birlingham visited Harborne in Division Four of the Worcestershire County League and the hosts scored 190-8.
Barber (3-44) and Horton (4-37) were the most successful bowlers.
Openers Robin Drake (27) and Andy Howarth (55) paved the way for victory by putting on 106. Gordon Jenkins (48no) and Mark Boskett (25no) completed an eight-wicket win with 17 overs to spare.
The second team scored 185-9, mainly thanks to a sensible stand between Pete Shepherd (49no)and Brian Howarth (26) but Harborne had few scares recording an eight-wicket win.
Birlingham played host to Wyre Piddle in a Sunday friendly fixture, with the visitors totalling 181.
In reply, Martin Downes hit 92 not out and, with support from John Gorman (30), Birl-ingham won by eight wickets.
