Mike Randle and two colleagues from St John's Ambulance were guests at the June meeting. They explained and demonstrated anti-choking and resuscitation techniques and some members were able to practice on models.
Rosalie Palmer reported on the food and craft day at Perdiswell where Chaddesley gained a "third" in the co-operative food entry and "highly commended" in the individual craft entries.
President Sylvia Beardshaw reported on the "Bin It" campaign. Another litter collection is planned for February or March.
A visit to Harvington Hall, with an American supper, has been organised for August 22, and there will be a bridge drive on September 26 - tickets are available from Mary Priest and Elizabeth Mountford and the cost includes lunch.
The next meeting will be at Bluntington Methodist Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday when R Stroud will talk about A Vet's Day.
