A new venue from September onwards was discussed at the June meeting, and a show of hands from members showed the favoured meeting place to be St Ambrose Hall.
Pam Hussey was welcomed as a new member, secretary Muriel Wanklin read the news from headquarters, and the chairman had congratulated Dr Richard Taylor on his becoming MP for Wyre Forest.
The chairman asked for more support for the sales table.
Audrey Spells was the guest speaker, talking about her cruise to the "Midnight Sun". She later judged the competition for a flower from the garden.
The speaker on July 10 will be Eileen Tasker, on Talking Newspapers. The competition will be for a favourite brooch.
