- Harvington Hall, a moated manor house, will open in aid of the scheme for the first time on Saturday from 11.30am until 5pm. An Elizabethan herb garden, partly planted in memory of Father Geoffrey Tucker, and recently completed by volunteers from Hereford and Worcester Gardens Trust will be officially opened.
On Sunday, Tythe Barn House, Chaddesley Corbett will open from 2pm until 6pm. This .75-acre garden created in an old farm rickyard, includes old and modern roses, herbs, heathers and herbaceous borders, with a wildlife pool. Tea will be available. There is no admission charge for children.
Also on Sunday, Koi Cottage, Astley, will be open from 1pm until 5.30pm. This Japanese garden has a koi carp pool, and plants will be on sale. Children are admitted free.
