AN indie group from Stourport has tasted success in its search for a drummer after snapping up an 18-year-old Kidderminster man.
Martin Price has joined Spinner after an appeal in the Shuttle/Times & News and the band are now busily rehearsing at The Outback in Stourport as they look to get their show back on the road.
The rest of the band, which is made up of vocalist Dave Glass, lead guitarist Adam Chester and singer Neil Jones, have already played successfully at the Robin R'n'B Club in Brierley Hill, and are ready to line up more gigs in the near future.
Dave said: "Martin has come on a treat after his first few auditions. He's really hard working and has made a massive effort in practising at home.
"He's learning the Beatles, Stereophonics and Travis material we play as well as our own six or so tracks.
"To be honest, I was staggered by the number of phone calls I got in response to the article and we are hoping to push things on from here and secure gigs further afield."
